Oxidative processes

VSS-Umwelttechnik supplies reliable incinerators, in which volatile organic pollutants are converted into CO2 and water.

Three different processes are offered in cooperation with reliable partners:
  • Thermal incineration
  • Catalytic incineration
  • Regenerating oxidation

During thermal incineration, solvents and other organic substances are removed from the exhaust air. Due to a rotating adsorber, pollutants which develop at high exhaust air flows and low pollution levels may be absorbed at one point and re-collected at another via a warm lower air flow and then supplied to the incinerator. In this manner, smaller and more cost-effective dimensions may be used for the proper system and energy costs thereby reduced.

During catalytic incineration, a catalyst allows for the oxidation to take place at significantly lower temperatures and thus contributes to saving both energy and costs.
